Indianlife takes to the tropics with products available in Hawaii!

The picturesque beauty of Hawaii’s third largest Island, Oahu, has helped it earn its nickname  “The Gathering Place.” Oahu is home to the majority of Hawaii’s diverse population, a fusion of east and west cultures steeped in the values and traditions of the Native people.

Eco-friendly vibes run deep and clear here as the ocean waters. Down To Earth, a wonderful chain of all vegetarian organic and natural food stores in Hawaii, embodies this positive vibe and social consciousness.

Indianlife is proud to add our healthy vegetarian and vegan Indian foods to the terrific product selection at Down To Earth’s new Kapolei location on Oahu. Over 5000 people attended the grand opening! Congrats to the Down To Earth team on a fabulous launch. We welcome our Hawaiian Community Members to the Indianlife Family.

Aloha, and we hope to hear from you!

Changing lives, one child at a time.

“Be the change you want to see in the world” may be the best-known quote from Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi’s ideals, philosophy and selfless dedication to social justice are the inspiration behind Child Haven International — a charity dedicated to helping destitute and orphaned children.

An ‘orphan’ is defined by the United Nations as a child who has ‘lost one or both parents’. Disabled, parentless, or socially disadvantaged children can all become destitute.

Child Haven International operates homes for children in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bangladesh. All of these countries are hard hit by poverty. And all of these children, united by despair, typically are not receiving even one good meal a day until they enter Child Haven International.

Child Haven International children are referred by local social welfare agencies. Guided by Gandhi’s principles, Child Haven International creates self-sufficiency for kids. Children (from birth to six years of age) referred to them receive full care through high school (Tenth Standard). Child Haven International also provides vocational training, giving each child the tools to enter local society as a self-sufficient adult.

In addition Child Haven International works tirelessly to improve the condition of women in these countries through direct employment, education, medical aid, legal aid, and training opportunities.

At Indianlife we’re proud to donate to Child Haven International. Visit their website, and you too can “be the change” and help change the lives of destitute children:
