Love of great-tasting food is something people of every city, ethnicity and gender share!
In the bustling streets of Mumbai and Bombay, savvy street vendors elevate the sandwich to an art form. There are as many street food kiosks as there are vendors and sandwiches. While it can take hours to prepare each ingredient from scratch, Indianlife makes it easy with fresh-ground spices, chutneys and more!
These cities are known for distinctive street foods that are a fresh, inexpensive alternative to pricey restaurants. Lanes with a cluster of street food vendors are known locally as Khau Galli which means “Food Alley” in Marathi.
Today these fresh, informal street foods are growing in popularity. Restaurants worldwide continue to include Mumbai-inspired “street foods” into their menus.
For this recipe, Indianlife Naan and our delicious Chutneys/a> mingle with fresh vegetables that are accented by our authentic Garam Masala spice — in a tasty sandwich that’s easy to pack for picnics, lunches or prepare for a crowd.
